The Vickery Corridor… Fort Worth’s new designer row.

The Vickery corridor as we describe it is that stretch of Vickery from Bryant Irvin to University.  And, because they are too interesting to be left out, this includes many “just off Vickery” establishments.

The face of Vickery has changed! Once lined with automotive shops, warehouses and a few cafes, Vickery today is emerging as a home for intriguing specialty shops and builder supplies. Change will be in the air again as State Highway 121 construction begins.

From Tom Malone’s architectural firm just east of Montgomery to the showrooms of flooring and decorating accessories scattered along the length of the boulevard, Vickery has blossomed into a most inviting and inspiring shopping corridor.

Whether your needs are commercial or residential, you will find a treasure of resources along Fort Worth’s Vickery corridor.

For years, the tremendous traffic flow on Vickery has been an untapped source of customers. Long time Vickery businesses built their customer bases from daily drive-by traffic over a long period of time. These businesses’ growth was a result of the buzz marketing (word of mouth referrals) existing customers put into action - friends telling friends about a good experience with one of the Vickery shops or businesses. Over the next months, Our Fort Worth.com will be featuring businesses along the Vickery corridor and spotlighting some of the business owners. We’ll share these entrepreneurs’ predictions on the future of Vickery and how they are making it happen.
